Emma Kwon Elected to Weston Public Library Board of Trustees

Please join us in congratulating Emma Kwon, WPS’s own Elementary Library Media Specialist, for her recent election to the Board of Trustees, Weston Public Library.  Emma has always been an advocate for our public library and is looking forward to getting started.

For those who might not know her, Emma has worked for WPS since 2017, starting in the Woodland School library, and this is her 5th year in her current role.  She previously served on the WS Council and is currently a Faculty member on the CS Council.  Emma is also in her 3rd year continuing to serve on the District DEI Committee.  Among her other accolades, Emma was elected to the Executive Board of the Massachusetts School Library Association, currently serving her second year in the role of Secretary, and slated to continue through 2025.  Additionally, she was invited to join the Editorial Review Panel for School Library Journal and has served in this role since 2022.
