Country School Council
Looking to get involved at CS? Consider running for Country School Council. We have one open seat for a 2-year term. Elections will be held at the end of the month, and we will send more specific information regarding election dates as soon as it is available. In the meantime, please see the description below and feel free to reach out to us with questions.
School Council is an important and exciting opportunity for parents to get involved! Every public school in the state is required by law to have a school council made up of various representatives, including elected parents. According to the Mass. Department of Education, school councils are to assist principals in: adopting educational goals for the school that are consistent with local educational policies and statewide student performance standards, identifying the educational needs of students attending the school, reviewing annual school building budget, and formulating a school improvement plan. If interested in running for School Council, please send a candidate statement to Taylor McIntire at email@example.com & Jessie Grasshoff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
