Letter from Principal Erin Maguire

August 17, 2022

Dear Country School Families,

On behalf of the entire Faculty and Staff of the Country School, I would like to officially welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year.  I hope everyone has enjoyed their Summer!  I am very much looking forward to a wonderful year ahead.  All of the Country School team members have been working hard throughout the Summer to prepare for the upcoming school year and are eager to welcome everyone back to school on Wednesday, August 31st.

Over the next few weeks, there will be lots of back to school information being sent out from the District, myself, and classroom teachers..  I am also available over email, by phone, or to meet in-person as needed.  Please do not hesitate to reach out. In addition to this communication, you will receive an email specific to your child’s school and class placement.  If you do not receive an email with your child’s placement information by the end of the day today, please reach out.

Please join me in welcoming new and returning faces to Country School! We are excited about many changes to our teaching teams this coming year.  Given the changes in sectioning, some teachers will be teaching a different grade than last year..  We are also excited to welcome a few new faces to the Country School team! Please use the chart below to see who is teaching at each level, as well as a list of new faculty/staff members.

(This field is located on your right as you drive down Alphabet Lane, just before you Country School.)

Grades 1-3 Parent Information:

We look forward to welcoming our new and returning students in grades 1-3.  Classroom teachers will be in touch regarding a time to visit the classroom.  You can expect to hear from  your child’s classroom teacher in the next few days.

At the start of next week, I will send an email with more detailed information regarding school protocols and procedures.  This email will include a link to our Student Handbook and our COVID Safety Protocol Handbook.  I would also like to extend an invitation to all families to attend a Parent Forum on Wednesday, September 7th at 9:00am to learn more about the start of the school year and to answer any questions you may have.  A Zoom link for this event will also be shared via email closer to the date for families that are unable to attend in person..

At Country School, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for all of our students.  I look forward to our home/school collaboration to ensure that this year is the best it can be. Stay tuned for even more information in the coming days!
