CS PTO Update

Hello, Country School Families,

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a healthy and restful Winter break.

We had such a wonderful send off for our teachers on the 23rd with our annual Country CARES Cookie Collaboration. Thank you to everyone who baked and donated to this. It is always a favorite appreciation event for our awesome faculty and staff.

Please see below for the latest updates.

Have a great week!

Best regards, Jessie & Jess CS PTO Co-Chairs

The Elementary Global Diversity Fair on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 5-7pm. We are looking for volunteers to (1) host a booth representing a culture, country, or region; this is the heart of our multicultural fair. Feel free to partner with other members of the elementary community with whom you share a culture, country, or region to co-host a booth! We are also looking for volunteers to (2) coordinate and/or perform music, dance or performances. This event relies on the help of volunteers, so please consider participating. You can sign up here.

We will have an informational zoom for those interested in participating on Monday, 1/9 at 9:30 am.

Country School needs lunch monitors!! We are now looking for parent volunteers. We have added more slots for January, February and March. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this sign up. Monitors are needed daily from 11:15-1. Please take as many slots as possible. How fun to get to see your kids in action at school!!

You are invited to upcoming forums for families about each curriculum used in grades K-5. Goals of these forums include 1) sharing more details with you about each curriculum, and 2) hearing from you in person about each curriculum. These events are scheduled around the subject area rather than grade level or school. While forums will take place at each school, each elementary grade subject curriculum will be discussed grouped by topic, and families are welcome to attend multiple forums over the coming months.

You don’t need to sign up ahead of time to attend a curriculum forum. If you cannot attend the forums, please email questions for the forums in advance to Superintendent@weston.org. All forums will be live streamed via Zoom webinar and Zoom links will be shared closer to each event.
