Hope everyone had a great long weekend! It was a short, but busy week at Country School. We want to send a big shout out to our 3rd Grade Orchestra students. They did a fantastic job at String Fling. We look forward to hearing the 3rd grade chorus this week at Spring Sing!

3RD GRADE YEARBOOK REMINDER
If you have not done so already, please submit your pictures for the 3rd grade yearbook to Amanda Dudley at countryschoolyearbook@gmail.com ASAP. This is a very special keepsake that your child will want to be a part of!
MULTILINGUAL FAMILY OUTREACH LIAISONS
Meet Weston’s four liaisons for multilingual families. Our liaison’s main goal is to help families whose first language is Mandarin, Korean and Spanish, better connect with our schools. Our facilitators can help families with understanding district practices, learning about upcoming events, and finding the right people to communicate with should questions and concerns arise. FRACTAL FAIR – Hosted by the Math Dept and HS Honors Precalculus Students
Come find out what a fractal is and so much more! The Fractal Fair this year will take place on Tuesday, March 14 from 6:30-8:00PM in the High School Library. It happens to coincide with Pi day (3.14)….what?! What could be better and more appropriate! The fractal fair is hosted by the math department but run by all the Honors Precalculus students at Weston. There will be 28 groups presenting their projects on a wide range of topics related to fractals. The fair will be appropriate for all kids elementary aged and up, so bring your other children, invite extended family members, uncles, aunts, grandparents, everyone you know who might be curious about fractals, math, and our world. Please mark your calendars and set aside the night for a time of exploration, learning, and innovation.
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY/ENGINEERING FORUM
Please mark your calendars for the K-12 Science & Technology/Engineering Community Forum. This forum is being held on Thursday, March 16th at 8:30am in the Field School Dining Hall and on Zoom. This is a part of the Science External Review Process, where the external team will be seeking feedback from community members. If you would like to submit questions or have comments about the review please contact K-5 Curriculum Specialist Susan Erickson, Ericksons@weston.org. The Zoom link that will be provided closer to the forum.

Please plan to attend the joint IN-PERSON BWMPO/PTO meeting on March 23rd at 7:00PM. We urge you to come, support, and engage with guest speakers, Dr. Matthew Henry and Ms. Theresa Dryden, as we discuss their firsthand experience with the METCO program, the Weston METCO program, and how we improve the METCO experience for the Weston community. This invitation is for the entire Weston community. We look forward to seeing you there!

2023 SPECIAL OLYMPICS MASSACHUSETTS BASKETBALL STATE TOURNAMENT
Weston High School is one of four schools in the State hosting the 2023 Special Olympics Massachusetts Basketball State tournament on Sunday, April 2nd. Weston High School was inducted into the Special Olympics Massachusetts Hall of Fame in 2016 and annually hosts a basketball tournament for Special Olympics Massachusetts. Please check out the online fundraising website for anyone who would like to contribute financial support to this event!
CS LUNCH MONITOR SIGN-UP
Parent volunteers have been doing an incredible job as lunch monitors. Thank you! We have added more slots for March and April. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up. Monitors are needed daily from 11:15-1:00. Please take as many slots as possible. How fun to get to see your kids in action at school!
