SPRING CONCERT FRIDAY The Country School Spring Concert is Friday, May 19th. The concert will be a culmination of the hard work and practices students and teachers have put in. You won’t want to miss this special event! Location: Country School Gymnasium. Please enter through the gym doors located on our school playground. 8:45 – 9:30 – 2nd & 3rd Grade Orchestra, Chorus 10:15 – 10:45 – Preschool, K, and 1st Grade COUNTRY SCHOOL GEAR STORE – ORDERS DUE WEDNESDAY! Only a few more days to order! We have some fun new options and a few fan favorites! You can order your gear until Wednesday, May 17. After that, the store will be closed and we will be unable to place more orders. All items will be shipped to you once the store closes on May 17. K-12 ART SHOW – REFRESHMENTS NEEDED There will be an opening reception for the K-12 Art Show on Tuesday, May 16, from 5:30-7:30pm in the Weston High School Science Wing. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to set up the reception and provide snacks and water. We hope parents across all grades will be willing to help out to make this show an extraordinary success and celebration of the artistic achievements of all of our children! MENTAL HEALTH ESSENTIALS FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS Please join us in collaboration with the Department of Wellness Education in Weston Public Schools and the Weston Wellness Education for “Mental Health Essentials for Parents & Caregivers,” on May 23 at 7:00 p.m, located in the WHS Library. This 1.5-hour workshop for parents & caregivers will be delivered by experienced clinicians who will explore strategies to include mental health as part of your parenting. How to identify when loved ones need support for mental health, how and where to get professional support, and how to use strategies for self-care for yourselves and your loved ones. For more information, please email Mitch Finnegan finneganm@weston.org COUNTRY SCHOOL PARENT NIGHT OUT – LAST CHANCE FOR TICKETS Book your babysitter and join other Country School parents for a night out at Heirloom. Thursday, May 25, 6:30-9:30. Tickets are $45 per person and cover heavy appetizers. BYOB. Please see the invitation for more information and to RSVP. Hope to see you there! CS LUNCH MONITOR SIGN-UP Parent volunteers have been doing an incredible job as lunch monitors. Thank you! We have added more slots for April and May. If you would like to volunteer, please sign up. Monitors are needed daily from 11:15-1. Please take as many slots as possible. How fun to get to see your kids in action at school! LOST AND FOUND
The Country School Lost and Found is full!! It will be on display at the Spring Concert. All unclaimed items will be donated after May 20th. |
