CS PTO Update

On Friday morning the PTO Family Engagement Committee hosted a New Family Welcome Breakfast at Field School. PTO President Stephanie Goldstein was there and many PTO members welcomed new families and answered any questions. It was great meeting some of the new families at Country School and in the district.

Weston PTO Elementary Trunk-or-Treat

Trunk-or-Treat is this Friday, October 27, from 4:30-6pm in the Field School Parking Lot. Volunteers received an email this week with further instructions (please let us know if you didn’t receive it or still have questions). Everyone else will receive a communication on Monday with more details and reminders. For those donating candy and teal bucket fillers, please remember to drop your donations off at Country School by Tuesday, October 24! 🎃👻💀

Our third annual BWMPO (Boston Weston METCO Parent Organization) and PTO “Meet Me Halfway” dinner was POSTPONED. Please stay tuned for a future date and location.

Parent Teacher Conferences are underway. Please be sure to check in at the front office when you arrive, come prepared to your child’s conference with any questions, comments or concerns and be mindful of the allotted time so all families get equal time with their child’s teacher.

Please see additional announcements below. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Country School calendar to stay up to date on all school and PTO-related activities, and follow us on Instagram @countryschool for school-related photos and information.

Have a great week, Coyotes!

WESTON METCO MEADOW FARMS FUNDRAISER

The annual Weston METCO Fundraiser that supports the Weston High School METCO Student Activities Group is beginning. This year the Black Student Union (BSU) has decided to try a different vendor – Meadow Farms. It offers a variety of items from candles to candy to Stonewall Kitchen items. 100% of the proceeds will help support and assist the High School METCO students. Previous fundraisers have allowed us to assist with field trips and AP exam fees as well as host METCO student celebrations and community building events. We would love to expand our efforts to include supporting our Global Student Travel Funds, which offers scholarships to assist METCO Student participation in educational travel opportunities. Your orders will help make this possible.

For your convenience we are accepting online orders that will be shipped directly to your home. Place your order now through November 17. Please contact Nancy Fournier via email or at 781-786-5851 with questions.

WEEFC CROC CHARMS ARE BACK
