Weston METCO Meadow Farms Fundraiser

The annual Weston METCO Fundraiser that supports the Weston High School METCO Student Activities Group is beginning. This year, the Black Student Union (BSU) has decided to try a different vendor – Meadow Farms. It offers a variety of items, from candles to candy to Stonewall Kitchen items. 100% of the proceeds will help support and assist the High School METCO students. Previous fundraisers have allowed us to assist with field trips and AP exam fees and host METCO student celebrations and community-building events. We would love to expand our efforts to include supporting our Global Student Travel Funds, which offers scholarships to assist METCO Student participation in educational travel opportunities. Your orders will help make this possible. For your convenience, we are accepting online orders that will be shipped directly to your home. Place your order now through November 17. Please contact Nancy Fournier via email at fourniern@weston.org or at 781-786-5851 with questions.

PTO Thanksgiving Drive For Bristol Lodge & Homeless Shelter

Please support the Weston PTO and elementary schools’ annual drive for Waltham’s Bristol Lodge Food Pantry and Homeless Shelters. The drive is from November 1 to November 22. Children can bring non-perishable donations to the designated collection bins in the Country, Woodland, and Field Schools. The goal is to collect at least 2,500 items from each elementary school! Suggested items to donate include canned goods, pasta, boxed juices, cereals, kids’ snacks, condiments, baby food, dried beans, and rice. Pull-top lids are preferred, and all items must be non-expired. Gift cards can also be purchased. Please involve your students and give! Contact Stacy Gilman, Michelle Raymond, and Anisha Palmer with questions.
