Welcoming Shannon Dickerson, Incoming Woodland School Principal

Dear Weston School Community,

I am pleased to announce that Ms. Shannon Dickerson will be the next Principal of Woodland Elementary School. Ms. Dickerson will officially begin on July 1, 2022, but she will be working with us over the next few weeks as she transitions to Weston from the Hopkinton Public Schools, where she served as the Assistant Principal at Marathon Elementary for the past five years. 

Ms. Dickerson holds a Master of Education degree in Administrative Leadership from Endicott College, as well as a Master of Education degree in Moderate Special Needs Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, both from Boston College. Prior to her leadership role in Hopkinton, she taught for 23 years in the Newton Public Schools as a kindergarten and first grade teacher.
