Head Athletic Trainer Andrew Rizza MS, ATC, LAT

Andrew RizzaAndrew has been working in the healthcare industry for over 25 years both in private practice and traditional athletic training settings.  His responsibilities at Weston include injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and performance education and training for all athletes. In addition to being the Athletic Trainer at Weston he serves as the Clinical Director for ATI Physical Therapy in Wellesley providing performance and rehabilitation therapies to a large patient population.
He has built his network working with a collective group of orthopedic and non orthopedic physicians providing clinical opportunities for clinicians, athletes and patients alike.

Andrew attended Northeastern University where he received both his BS in Athletic Training and MS in Leadership and Health Management. He also attended Kent State University where he attended the Physical Therapy Assistant Program for Athletic Trainers. In addition to his advanced degrees he most recently completed his MS in Applied Sports Science Analytics from Lasell University in order to stay current in the ever-changing landscape in healthcare, sports rehabilitation and sports performance. Andrew is Dually Licensed as a Certified Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts and also serves as an approved clinical instructor for Lasell College’s Athletic Training curriculum.

Athletic Training office hours are Monday through Friday 1pm – 7pm and Saturdays by appointment.
