WHS Science Grant Opportunity

Thank you to the High School families who have contributed to WEEFC’s 35th-anniversary fundraiser—we are so appreciative of your support. For those who did not participate, we wanted to share an opportunity to contribute to a new High School-specific grant.
WHS science teacher Mary Liu recently submitted an innovative and timely grant to WEEFC that will benefit nearly 200 current biology students this spring, as well as future classes. This grant request, entitled “PCR and Fluorescence: Making Real-World Connections,” is for the purchase of lab equipment that will enhance the curriculum for all WHS biology students, enabling them to explore fundamental scientific techniques.
Donations previously made to the anniversary effort can go towards funding this grant.
