National News Literacy Week

It’s National Literacy News Week (organized by the News Literacy Project). This year the focus is on limiting the spread of misinformation by reminding us to stop and think before we share possibly false news on social media, text, and chat.

Your librarians have created a News Literacy Week Collection to help you develop your news literacy skills. You’ll find a 30 second PSA about sharing news, a quiz, and related websites, books, videos in the high school library collection. You’ll find a display in the library, too.
