DECA State Conference Results

Nineteen WHS students participated in the MA DECA State Conference from March 10-12 in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center.  It was exciting to be back in person and compete against other MA school districts for a chance to attend the International DECA Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta in April.

The results are:

William Zhang qualified for ICDC with a top 6 finish in the category of Principles of Business Management and Administration.

Placing in the top 12 in their events and possible ICDC qualifiers are:

Maxwell Burd – Principles of Finance

Siyang Ding – Principles of Business Management and Administration

Caleb Graupera – Principles of Marketing

Gregoire Marsot and Kevin Joseph – Innovation Plan

Test scores in the top 6 for their event were awarded to:

Neil Agarwal -Financial Consulting Event

Zunian Luo – Business Finance Series Event

In addition, Gregoire Marsot and Ray Wang qualified for ICDC based on their gold recertification award for The Cat’s Den in the Small Business Enterprise – Retail category.
