Facing History Club Hosting Walk on April 15th

The Facing History Club in conjunction with the Class of 2022 is hosting a walk-a-thon on April 15th beginning at 10:30am!

The Boston Neighborhood Community Land Trust is a group of activists fighting gentrification that is displacing low-income families in the greater Boston area, a majority of which are people of color. They strive to prevent structural racism through purchasing community land trusts with the intention of keeping housing permanently affordable in that region.

As Boston is now the 3rd most gentrified city in the United States (ncrc.org), we hope to raise money to help support affordable housing in Boston neighborhoods.
