WHS Theater Company Congratulations

Theater Company had another great day at Drama Festival this past Saturday. While we were not selected to move on to the Finals Round, the students had a very successful day and I am so proud of their incredible work this season.

A huge congratulations to the following students who received recognition with All Star Company Awards at this round;

In addition, the entire company, led by Stage Manager Finn Oberg, received the “Stage Manager’s Award.” This is a special recognition award given by the host school to one visiting school who in various ways was the most pleasant to host from the technical rehearsal, through the end of the festival day. Our students were acknowledged for being well prepared for their tech rehearsal, friendly and easy to work with, and for embodying the spirit of Drama Festival.

T.Co was also given a peer recognition award for “strong ensemble work, cohesive costumes, and a transformative set that took us into the world of your actors.” Overall, I am so proud of how they represented our school and community, on and off stage all day!
