Class of 2026 Class Parent Opportunity

Hello Freshman Parents/Guardians,

WHS PTO Chairs

Class Parent Requirements:

• One year appointment with possibility to continue on following year(s).
• Monthly Class Parent meetings (some in person, some Zoom) with HS PTO Chairs and
Student Activities Chair
• Meetings with student government representatives and Faculty Advisors as needed (when
requested by students or Faculty Advisors)

Class Parent Responsibilities:
Social Events (securing dates and volunteers to help plan, decorate, chaperone,
advertise)
• Parent Cocktail Party (Fall)
• Class Social (Sophomores have Casino Night in Spring)
• Class Breakfast (Fall and Spring)

Student Events and Fundraisers (assisting students with logistics, planning, executing,
volunteer recruitment, driving, advertising)
• Pumpkin Fest (Fall)
• Haunted House (Fall, run by Sophomore Class)
• Spring Fling (Spring)
• Additional fundraisers like Restaurant Night, Car Wash (TBD)
• Community Service Project (TBD)

   Other Events:
• Senior Graduation Reception (work with PTO on budget and find parent volunteers)
