The annual Spring Fling event on the Town Green that is run by Weston High School’s Student Council will be held on Saturday, 4/27 from 10 am-2 pm (with a rain date of Sunday, 4/28). Children in grades K-5 will enjoy an afternoon of games, crafts, musical entertainment and activities such as face painting, a petting zoo, cupcake decorating (and eating) to name a few.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be sold as well as cotton candy and popcorn. Tickets for food and activities will be available for purchase on the Town Green. All proceeds will benefit Camp No Limits, a camp for young people with limb loss.

We are currently looking for community groups to host a booth or activity geared toward kids in grades K-5 (or an information booth with information for the parents). Please contact WHS Student Council Advisor, Paula Gearan, gearanp@weston.org  if you are interested in helping in this fantastic event!  Also, please pass on my information to other groups who would like to get involved.

Spring Fling 2018

Spring Fling is a community event run by WHS Student Council. This year it was  held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:00am -2:00pm on the Weston Town Green. School groups organize activities for children in grades K-4, such as face painting, obstacle course, moon bounce, dunk tank, etc.

This year we were able to raise $11,500 to benefit Camp No Limits from the proceeds at Spring Fling. We have also raised $700.00 in personal donation checks (which will be sent separately to camp) and have also raised $350.00 on our Crowdrise page.
The grand total is $12,550 raised on behalf of Camp No Limits and I am so proud of the hard work and dedication put forth by the members of Student Council.

All  proceeds will benefit Camp No Limits, a camp for young people with limb loss. This year a record amount of donations were raised for this worthy cause.

Thank you all for your support in this endeavor. I sincerely appreciate it!

All the best,

Erin McCarty
WHS English Teacher and School Council Faculty Advisor
