Mission

art clubTo produce art for the school and community in a variety of media (painting, murals, clay, graphic design, posters, etc.). Open for requests to better the WHS community and to demonstrate the importance of art. Potential art projects for charity can create opportunities for involvement in and out of school.

The Weston High School Visual Arts program established a Weston Chapter of National Art Honor Society in 2020. National Art Honor Society is a long-standing organization and recognizes those who have interest and strive for excellence in Visual Arts, leadership and service. NAHS/Art Club members will brainstorm, propose and potentially create more community art and service projects within Weston public schools, the town of Weston and/or neighboring cities.

Students will learn how to successfully work as a team, develop supportive communication and collaboration skills. The community projects are an opportunity to build bridges and positive feelings for their school and community.
