Mission

dnanfarberclubThe Dana Farber Club is Weston High School’s chapter supporting the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Jimmy Fund. The Jimmy Fund is the organization for community fundraising and volunteering for scientific inquiry, clinical care, education, community engagement, and advocacy for cancer. The club has been dormant in recent years, but we are hoping to gather members and make an impact. Since we are getting a late start this year, we are not planning on running our annual Putting For Patients fundraiser, but are hoping to reintroduce that event next year. Instead, while we build up a network of club members, we are planning on sending volunteers to Jimmy Fund events run by Dana Farber, in hopes of making contributions to this extremely important cause.
