Empower Initiative is an after-school volunteer tutoring program serving K-9 students in 6 towns across the Greater Boston Area. The organization was created to serve children of immigrant families who require additional support due to difficulties with language comprehension during class and in schoolwork. However, the organization has expanded to include children of all backgrounds and academic levels. Our tutors are Weston High School students committed to fostering a close academic community with students. Tutors specialize in diverse subjects, including English, Math, Science, and various world languages, helping students with school classes, extracurricular programs such as RSM, and competitions such as the AMC 8.
