Hello all,
The kids had a fun class breakfast this morning! Thank you so much to all the parents who helped by dropping off food and setting up for the event. There was a delicious yogurt, fruit, and granola bar in addition to bagels, munchkins, and hot chocolate. Big thanks to Jana Hinton, Peg Baumert, and Zeina Atassi who transformed one end of the cafeteria into a beautiful “golden gala” setting to help to kick off the Junior/Senior Prom.
The class officers have asked us to let all the parents know about plans for this year’s prom. Here is the packet of information: Junior & Senior Prom Info Packet. In it is lots of information about purchasing tickets, permission slips, and more. Attached to this email is the prom invitation. We hope that every member of the class will attend this fun event in May.
We plan to have opportunity draw baskets at the prom and are starting to look for items to be donated that the kids would enjoy winning–such as tickets to sporting events, restaurant gift cards, etc. We will send follow up emails with more details, but if you have any ideas of something you’d like to donate or would like to put together a basket, please let us know.

Junior Class Reminders and Updates
There are a lot of exciting things in the works for the Class of 2024! Here are the upcoming events for you and/or your children:
Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
The Krispy Kreme Fundraiser is back! Help support the Class of 2024 by buying a box of Krispy Kreme donuts here: Krispy Kreme Order Form. The donuts are $12/dozen. Pick up will be at the High School’s main entrance on Monday, March 6th from 3:15-5pm. Order forms close on Monday, February 27th, so get your orders in now!
Student/Teacher Basketball Game
The students are planning a second competition between the teachers and students with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They are still confirming a date in March for this after-school event that will include students and teachers from all high school classes. We’ll be in touch with more details soon.
Prom
A new committee comprised of a couple class officers and some parents of students have been meeting over the last couple weeks to prepare for the Junior Prom! They are planning decorations, communications and other preparations for a wonderful evening!! Thanks for the parents who are volunteering their time and energy to helping with this milestone event.
