Mission
The student literary magazine, The Current, publishes student writing and art in a magazine at the end of each academic year. We meet during the second half of activity periods in the English office and sometimes after school. Staff members and potential contributors will be encouraged submit work. Staff members will be assigned specific roles early in the year.
Contribute your literary work!
We have a submissions folder posted outside the Attendance Office.

The Literary Magazine collaborated with the Creative Writing class to release a series of poems and stories on a Facebook page. Art pieces were collected as part of this project. Students looked at creative writing pieces and edited them. The club used writing prompts to create writing during the Activity Block periods, like creating Blackout poetry or word association poetry. This year, we are working on launching a blog and are collecting submissions for our first paper and electronic collection to be distributed in January.
