Weston High School sponsored the Special Olympics State Basketball Tournament on April 10, 2022. It was a fabulous day! The officials, coaches and players were all so impressed with the student volunteers. We had over 190 students there from 7:30 am to 4pm!
Special thanks to class advisors Jeff Dias and Thea Ruggiano as well as Middle School history teacher and Class of 23 parent Ed McLaughlin who stepped up to run the middle school basketball courts. From the crack of dawn until the bitter end our student volunteers worked hard and left the school looking spotless (with a lot of help from awesome high school custodial staff Brandon and Juan).
Thanks to the class of 23 officers, Grace Kirk, Shreya Mehta, Henrik Stjernfeldt, or Haven Trodden. Congratulations on a wonderful event! Click here to view a few photos of the day!
