WEEFC, a sub-committee of the school committee, is a parent-led organization that raises and distributes funds in the form of grants to support innovative and creative programs outside the annual school budget. WEEFC meets monthly to discuss and vote on grants, plan fundraising appeals and community-building events, and explore ways to effectively reach our community. In a typical year, we fund about 50 grants and plan at least four community and/or fundraising events, which have included Principal for a Day, the Weston Wingding, and the Field School Art Show.
This year, we are specifically looking for someone with some IT experience to help manage our auction software and Constant Contact database. In addition, WEEFC is committed to having a board that better represents the broader Weston community.
