DO NOT call the Transportation Office, schools or the Weston Police, Fire or Highway departments. When driving conditions are unsafe, there will be either a “No School” or a “Two Hour Delayed Opening” announcement. When the “Two Hour Delayed Opening” is in effect, morning bus pickups and the start of classes will be postponed two hours. Meals, afternoon dismissals and all other school activities will take place at their regularly scheduled times. If there is no school, announcements are

  1. posted on this website
  2. recorded on the Superintendent’s office line (781-786-5210)
  3. reported on television channels 4,5,7,FOX 25WFXT; and radio stations, WBZ AM1030 and WRKO-AM 680.

DO NOT SEND CHILDREN TO SCHOOL EARLY ON A TWO HOUR DELAYED OPENING. The schoolyards and roadways may not be cleared, nor will staff be responsible for supervision of early arrivals. For more information, click here to read the Superintendent’s Inclement Weather Procedures.
