Brian’s latest book The Rough Patch won a Caldecott Honor in 2019.
Winter Concert takes place on Friday, December 13
Woodland School Winter Concerts are Friday, December 13 in the gymnasium. Grade 2 and Grade 3 will be at 8:45 a.m. and PreK, Kindergarten and Grade 1 will be at 10:15 a.m. Coffee will be provided in the library between performances.
WS celebrates Kindness Day on November 22
Wear your favorite cardigan in spirit of Fred Rogers and spread kindness with others.
Picture Re-take Day takes place on Friday, November 15
Retake day is scheduled for Friday, November 15. If your child was absent in September or if you are not happy with the your child’s photo you can have them retaken. You will not have to pay any additional money but you will receive the same package you originally ordered.
“Responsive Home” takes place Tuesday, November 12th 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Woodland School Library
The tools of Responsive Classroom can be used at home too. Join us and learn useful tips including positive language, family meeting, house rules, logical consequences and interactive modeling.
