WHS Proctor Field Public Presentation – Jan. 19th at 7pm
The School Committee will be requesting construction funds for a major renovation of the track and Proctor field complex at Town Meeting in May 2017. The Committee will also be requesting funds to replace the carpet on the existing artificial turf field, which has reached the end of its expected life and needs to be replaced.
The first public presentation has been scheduled for Thursday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the large conference room at Case House. The committee will present and review the design and solicit feedback from the community. A key part of the discussion will be the type of infill materials available for use in the new field and whether to replace the existing infill materials on Field 1. This meeting was covered by Weston Media.
The second presentation will be scheduled sometime in March. All interested residents are encouraged to attend either meeting.
