Welcome to the Weston PTO!

While we expect this academic year to look quite different, we are more enthusiastic and energized than ever to keep our Weston Public School community strong. We are excited to partner with our families and schools to offer steady communication, support and programming. Our PTO board has been hard at work this summer, and we are committed to doing more of this important work throughout the year.

We cannot do it without you! The PTO is supported entirely through membership dues and contributions. Our annual dues remain $50. Our school families can join or renew through the link below. Membership grants you access to our Membership Toolkit on-line directory and calendar. And as you purchase membership in our PTO “store”, you will also see options to purchase paper directories AND our new “WPS Stronger Together” spirit lawn signs. We want to unite as a community as we return to school!

We love volunteers, but volunteering is certainly not required to be a PTO member! Your membership alone is a meaningful way to support and strengthen our Weston Public School community. If you are interested in sharing your talents in any area, there is a link to our volunteer page below. We are always happy to engage parents in our School Events, Creative Arts, STEM, Community Outreach, Family Engagement, Green Team…the list goes on!

We greatly appreciate your support. Our school community is special. We are here to help, and we are happy to hear from you. We hope to see many of you at our (virtual) parent education events, our sponsored principal coffees and many PTO school specific happenings.

And we look forward to being in communication with our members through our weekly digital Westword newsletter as school begins!

To join, buy a paper directory, or buy a spirit lawn sign, please click here:  Membership Toolkit.

About the Weston PTO

The Weston Public Schools Parent Teacher Organization (Weston PTO) is an all-volunteer, parent-run, non-profit organization committed to enhancing and enriching the education of our children and fostering a sense of community within our schools. We seek to keep parents connected and informed by facilitating a closer relationship between school and home and serving as the communication link between the two. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to strengthen the Weston Public Schools’ capacity to provide the highest quality education possible for all students.

Our annual budget is raised solely through membership dues. We urge all families with children attending the Weston Public Schools to join as PTO members each school year. Each membership helps augment our children’s school experience and supports our educators in fulfilling their vision.

Parent involvement is a fundamental part of what makes a school community rich and robust. We take great pride in the strength of our PTO and encourage you to learn more about our programs and get involved in any of the many volunteer opportunities that work with your interests and schedule. Please read our full Mission Statement.
